The Skinny - The producers (Luck Films) are upping the ante trying to push Hina Kawai up into the next higher tier of bikini goddesses. How are they doing it - with lots of small bikini’s, some lovely Okinawa location shoots, and oodles of time and care for improvements in Hina’s make-up and hair. Hina has never looked better.
After a wonderful and lengthy opening montage (3:30 minutes) we join Hina on a secluded beach. She wears a white bikini which fits her ever so well. This beach scene runs only a minute and half but because of the unusual series of wipes and fades which transition one shot to the next, this scene is very effective, and not coincidentally may rate as one of the best beach scenes we’ve displayed on our pages.
In the next we get a shocking costume - Hina wears a sailor shirt top and matching skirt, white socks, and black loafers. “OK, what’s shocking about that?” you’re probably saying. Well this sailor costume is see-through! Hina is situated in an abandoned building which is suitably festooned with indecipherable graffiti. The scene begins with Hina walking through this derelict building constantly looking back as if she believes she’s being followed.
Hina’s next costume is a double top - a knit (crocheted?) affair over a pale beige halter. Hina is set up in a garage. Her prop is the red convertible parked there. Maybe it a Jaguar XKE - but you can’t really tell. Anyway, Hina goes into a pose, holds it, and the camera does the movement. A nice addition is the off-screen electric fan which creates the breezes giving Hina’s hair motion.
A red bikini on a lonely country road is the beginning of Hina’s next scene. It turns out this road is on a hill above the beach. Hina will stop halfway down the hillside to pose for us amidst the tropical vegetation. The red bikini contains her big hooters (100 cms) but only barely. There’s a sequence creating some serious jiggle before Hina finds her way to the actual beach.
Nothing much goes on at the beach - almost as if they shot footage on the beach because they could rather than having a specific program in mind. Hina does virtually nothing except wander around a bit. This is what happens when the director doesn’t have a plan. If you leave it to the model - you may get burned.
Hina usually does some modern dancing in each of her DVD’s and this one is no exception. Check out her moves. The setting isn’t quite right for a dance sequence, nor are work boots the optimum footwear. However Hina can shake her booty and it is exciting before they attempt to get in too close with the camera.
Hina appears in a sexy French Maid’s costume next. It’s an intriguing costume - black and white with a startling red bow. Her stocking are white with a series of red lips as the patterned adornment. What’s makes this scene very unusual is that she’s outdoors at the edge of a jungle. But even if the costume doesn’t fit the setting - it is a marvelous juxtaposition - beautiful to see as well as provocative when you think about it.
Back on the shore, Hina sports a blue bikini. The setting is perfect to set off Hina’s big boobies as the only other objects to view are man-made concrete boulders. It is a useful scene, and if you think that this is just another bikini sequence - you will be wrong.
The next scene is a completely useless scene. As it opens Hina is running away from something or someone. We are chasing or following her. Every 10 steps she will turn around and we get a quick view of her bosom heaving from the exertion.
We never find out why she’s running and we seem to circle around a ramshackle country cottage. That’s all I can tell you because that’s we get to see.
Back on the beach and this time Hina wears a shiny metallic looking bikini. Of course we get to see acres of skin - and Hina looks great in this sequence.
And then it is time for another dance sequence. This time we are in a garage and we see a pair of classic cars circa 1940’s. Hina is in high gears as she whirls and spins. They added some editing gimmicks and this scene soars.
The last scene of the main chapters finds us on the beach. Hina sports another red bikini that beautifully displays her bust. I’m thinking that Hina doesn’t swim because she’s not really done much of anything except walk about in all three beach scenes. She still looks marvelous as the song that plays over this scene is a nice tune that describes having, The time of our lives in California… a wonderful upbeat and happy tune.
Summary - an excellent DVD if you happen to like watching a busty babe in a bikini. There’s no interviews, no shopping, and despite the title, there are no cooking scenes. Sorry if you were looking for those, you’ll need to buy a different DVD. No sir, this is all buxom Hina on parade… and she is up to the challenge. Sometimes the camera moves too much, or too quickly but it’s not a serious flaw that we see over and over.
This DVD has variety, proper lighting, lots of sexy cleavage, and though some scenes are questionable in terms of intent - you won’t be complaining about not getting enough of this very sexy model. Of all the Hina Kawai DVD’s that I’ve reviewed - this is the first one that I will give a major recommendation to. Four point zero and a big thumbs up.
