I agree with your assessment, Mike. This is one of Fuko's best titles largely because of the production quality and the clothes. The opening music was even rather good, an invigorating start to a long appreciation of Fuko's ample assets. What really surprised me after so many tame Fuko videos was the untying of strings and the frequent moments when she left things hanging and made our jaws drop. However, my favorite part was her scene with the white turtleneck low-cut sweater - her hair and make up was excellent! I don't know how she could look elegant wearing such a revealing shirt but she did, she even kept a straight face~

Thanks for the positive comments.
I was glad when I heard that Fuko had signed to do a deal with Takeshobo, as they are a top house. Hoping for more Fuko soon.

First off let me say that this is in no way me bashing Fuko in any way. I just dont get it with Fuko. She does have a nice body, her face is okay, but something is out of place. Maybe its a combination of things. Maybe its the fact that her bust is too big (am I actually saying this) and the outfits she wears. Maybe she is not as cute as I would like her to be. Or maybe its just me. I dont get that rush of watching her DVDs. I guess Im just stuck back when Yellow Cab ruled and we had the likes of Harumi, Megumi, and of course Yoko (way back when not the recent ones...but thats for another time). Even when Rio Natsume first came on the scene then Ourei it felt to me like a changing of the guards since Megumi and Harumi were not making any DVDs. Then we get a huge disappoinment from Erina Yamaguchi. Boy what a waste of effort on the company who made those two DVDs. So much potential. Then there is a huge buzz over Fuko. When I first saw her pics I thought...well she isnt too bad looking...but my lord what a bust on this woman. So after awhile I decided to pick up Dekaroman. I really tried to enjoy this dvd but just couldnt get into it. She plays to the camera okay but just missing something that I cant put my finger on. That personal touch that the before ladies mention had. Anyways I am happy for my fellow J-Idol fans who do like Fuko and are enjoying her releases as it looks like she is a huge hit and should be around for awhile. In a way I am still waiting for my "Fuko" or next big J-Idol to hit. Enjoy! Oh and thanks as always Mike for the chance to speak on Idols...keep doing what you are doing!

Thanks for the commentary. I appreciate tyhe time and effort on your part.

Somehow I think Fuko is going to end up being one of those idols who are either adored or hated. As they say, "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder."

Back in the day of The Big Five - Megumi, Harumi, Yoko, Rio, and then Miri Hanai - there were those who didn't get much out of looking at Megumi. And still others didn't care for Rio's looks. Most adored Harumi Nemoto, and Yoko Matsugane. Miri came after them and did reach the pantheon, but then some of her DVD work was found to be far short of the expected excellence.

Times change - currently I adore Mikie Hara, Nonami Takizawa, and Hiroko Sato with Miyabi Isshiki rapidly gaining ground. But for the old guard - Rio has 2 new releases just out, and Yoko has a pair of releases on the way. As does Fuko. So I guess we will wait and see what happens.

As for Erina Yamaguchi - likely she wasn't in to it, and while I liked her first effort. The Great J - her second effort wasn't as good. The point being - fan base or not, the model has to want it, and the buyers have to buy - otherwise the producers move on.

I think I have a permanent crick in my neck from turning my head on its side to try to look at the pics, which for the most part are turned at some odd angle. Is this the way the camera is held most of the time? Or does it change angle from one second to the next? If so, then I don't think I would want to watch this for very long in fear of getting seasick.

I don't mean this to be a detraction on the model or the quality of the rest of the DVD. In my opinion, this kind of camerawork detracts form the quality of the overall DVD, and is disappointing to me, because I don't see this kind of thing in quality videos, only in amateur stuff that I think would be better off left on the cutting room floor.

Gotta love those bombastic bazooms, though. Wish I were there!

Thanks for the comments - I think for variety's sake the director will change up on his angles. I know I select my images the same way = if every image was a straight on view, my pages would become static.

Whether or not it is true that in Pineapple the director employs a Dutch tilt or a Japanese tilt far too often, will have to wait for my next viewing. In a review currently in process - the director had his camera in continuous motion and then the editing seemed that just as you were about to enjoy a specific angle - they'd employ a cut. I found that extrememly distracting.

But you make a valid point. Either the directors get caught up with too much tilt, or maybe I do in selecting the images for the reviews.

Thanks again for your interesting perspective [note that I didn't employ the word "tilt" again].
