The Skinny: Our last review featured the new Kaori (Kaori Nakamura). This review will feature the Gravure Idol who goes by the single name Kaori. She’s been performer in front of the cameras since 2002. And she still has it. This is a marvelous DVD.

Again, just like in the Nakamura Kaori DVD, this one follows the montage with an introduction. We gather some pertinent data like birthday, blood type, and constellation about Kaori, and this scene quickly ends. With the montage plus the introduction already displayed, we are still only 02:32 into the hour long DVD. Take note of the color and non-color image.

I don’t know why they bother with this sort of gimmick, as it certainly doesn’t enhance the model’s looks, nor does it make us think that the director is really skilled.

The first real chapter has the leggy Kaori in a gold bikini. Take note of how the scene is not washed out by the light pouring through the window. Also take note of the bold and imaginative use of color for the rug in the foreground, the cloth covering the sofa, and the background wall. And of course, I’m sure you haven’t failed to notice Kaori’s magnificent ass.

Chapter Two has Kaori in a tiny ‘bejeweled’ blue bikini. The apartment has the Phillips 76 logo as a key design element of the room. Kaori poses in front of one big sign and we see another in the background. Any contemplation that I have some sort of product placement intent would be wrong.

Next we find Kaori in a bedroom trimmed with gold plate on the mirror and the bed’s headboard. Fortunately, the art director did not give us a gold bikini. No sir, it is a bright and colorful red. There’s also a shag rug, a mirror, and a red brick wall that are all put to use for the color dynamics of the scene.

Up next we have Kaori in a sexy pink ensemble. The green of the potted plant and the blond wood also contribute to this striking scene. While the Kaori looks great…

…this scene suffers because the room is a tad to bright, and they’ve asked to not stray away from the single spot - so she doesn’t get a chance to do much.

When was the last time you saw a girl wearing a bikini with a skull & cross bones as the motif. This may be your first time, as it was mine. Check it out. After this, another brief interview segment follows.

Kaori in the Kitchen would have been the title of the next chapter had they employed title cards.

Nothing is poured, stirred, or cooked or consumed.

This is just another setting for a great look at Kaori.

Back in the bedroom, we find Kaori in black. This is a great look at the model but the lighting is intentionally soft. We don’t think this was a wrong choice, just not the best choice.

The credits follow and we still have about 7 minutes to go - what will we see next? A door opens and we see Kaori in the bathroom. It’s of course all in good taste, but totally unnecessary. Surely they might have chosen a better location than this.

What is interesting is that Kaori wears thong panties, and if you look closely, you will see that beneath this one is an even smaller thong pantie (see below).

They close with a waterless bath. What we see is blue bikini-ed Kaori slick with a bath oil. However there’s a reason why this scene comes at the tail end of the DVD. It’s dark, she doesn’t smile, and there’s very little about the scene to like. Here’s a single capture.

Summary: Kaori should have an exclamation point in her name as in Kaori!. She makes a major impact. What I have come away with from watching this DVD is that I’m eager for more of her. She has a killer body to say the least.

Still this DVD, while it is overall a fine production suffers from a certain sameness to each scene. All were indoors, none had Kaori in what you might call street clothes, and all had a limited amount of movement by the model. Okay, she turns this way and that way, and you do get some fabulous views of her body; but every scene was done the same way.

Kudos for good lighting, creative angles, and a steady camera which showed none of the excessive motion that we saw in Kaori Nakamura’s DVD. Let’s bring this one in at three point seven five with a recommendation.
