The Skinny: This DVD, as well as the companion DVD, Oh! Pai Odori, have been sitting in my In-Box on my desk since early October. I’ve wanted to do this review for weeks, but Nozomi Takeuchi is such a powerhouse of a model, that she makes other models suffer in comparison. But trooper that I am, I shall press ahead, and get this one into the record. Watch for our review of the companion DVD of this double release coming soon. Here is the cover.

Air Control has seemingly never met a 60 minutes DVD that they couldn’t stretch into 90 minutes. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but some scenes could be shorter. And other scenes should have been shorter. I wish they would change their modus operandi and make their DVDs no longer than 75 minutes. Its not that seeing a woman like Nozomi is a chore, but things can and do drag when scenes are extended.

When we first meet the divine Nozomi, she’s wearing a red bikini. The scene runs about nine minutes with the model taking a leisurely tour around the grounds of this now ell known Balinese resort - Villa Jatatsu. You will notice the unusual doors, the weathered stone, the lush tropical foliage, as well as Nozomi’s curvy body. She says not a word throughout this lengthy opening stanza, but her figure speaks to us eloquently. The scene incorporates bright sunlight filtered through the canopy provided by Mother Nature for a sometimes sunny and sometimes partially shadowed look.

Next Nozomi wears an orange bikini. She begins in her room. The scene contains an unusual location as we and the camera find ourselves enclosed with Nozomi in a closet. The she will take to her bed as the room is subjected to an influx of bubbles.

These are not the distraction you might have thought, as they give Nozomi something to play off. Some of the camera work in this scene features some excellent close-ups. As usual, Nozomi’s signature playfulness in bed is present.

Scene three is a playful and fun scene involving Nozomi in a white sheer wrapping over a glittery bikini. She begins with a few moments on a hammock before moving to a poolside chaise. There she is served a cold drink and chips by a mechanical claw-like hand. It is a toy for children but they way it is used here, it has all the characteristics of a hormone driven, sex-crazed male who just won’t take no for an answer.

The ‘hand’ will continually lift Nozomi’s skirt, or poke her boobs, or play grab-ass. Nozomi puts up with it, chattering away while having to fend off this repetitive and cumulative groping.

Next we get Nozomi in a blue bikini. Nothing unusual here until the camera operator has a good grip on the tie strings attached to the bikini top. It’s a most unusual perspective and kind of fun to watch.

Nozomi tries out a green knit bikini next. Apparently one bikini after another is the costume of choice for this production. She’ll be posed with bricks as a background, or on the wooden planks of the deck, or maybe just as she walks the pathways though the Balinese garden. This scene contains a large amount of jumping around for the jiggle and wobble effects. Also in this scene a hyper-active large palm frond single-mindedly pursues Nozomi to brush against her boobs.

Nozomi dons (what else?) a red, trimmed with pink lace, bikini for the requisite pool scene next. This is an excellent scene complete with lots of closeups of her bust. As usual with Nozomi, she is captivating when she turns on the charm. Yes, it is obvious that she has a marvelous body, as it is made eminently clear when she reclines on a wooden bench.

But we love Nozomi because of her incomparable talent in engaging the viewer with shy smiles, or sultry come hither looks, and we get a wide range of adorable facial expressions in this scene.

Nozomi as a blindfolded maid is next. They play the scene as a game, with Nozomi trying to guess what kind of fruits or vegetables are held under her nose, and all she can do is try to figure it out via her nose and mouth. No hands please. From another perspective the viewers get a splendid opportunity to peer into her cleavage. Her reward for guessing the correct identity of a number of items is a banana. But then the scene regresses.

You can’t go to the well and overplay a gimmick. First we had a mechanical hand/claw, then we had an exuberant palm frond. This time it is a long tubular balloon that Nozomi has to fend off. That’s three times in less than an hour for the same gimmick/ploy.

A yellow bikini is Nozomi’s next costume. We are by the pool, and guess what? The pursuit of Nozomi will continue. This time Nozomi’s boobs are asked to absorb streams of water. After a while she just deals with it. As an added treat, Nozomi wears eye glasses throught this chapter.

The next to last chapter begins with Nozomi wearing dark beige underwear. Some how within the same scene she acquires a shirt which she will takeoff, as well as jingling bells which start off as a ring on her left hand and a toe ring on her right foot. While most of this scene has Nozomi on a bed, it is marred by the sound of the constantly jingling bells , one of which is added to her cleavage for the last minute of the scene. I suppose I’d be happily chirping if I was some granted access to Nozomi’s cleavage, so I’ll forgive them for the overdone jingling. That’s jiNGling, not jiGGling.

The final chapter follows. It is a night scene at the beach. Nozmi wears a black bathing suit, there’s no light from stars or moon, and they employ a hand held lamp to light only Nozomi. As if this wasn’t enough of a bad start, there’s the music, an angry rap which doesn’t fit either the scene or the overall DVD. And they have Nozomi rolling around in the sand, ostensibly trying to ‘escape’ pursuit from what is actually the shadow of a hand held in front of the lamp. This was a disaster of a scene conceptually from the get-go as well as what we actually got as the finished scene.

A brief five minutes of behind the scenes follows and while I usually like these, they break no new ground this time.

Summary: A superb DVD. Ms Nozomi’s attributes have been well-documented by me in earlier reviews. She has a great shape, and she’s got the can’t be taught ability to charm the viewer with her eyes and smiles, as well as her figure. The DVD has plenty to see, is successful in all but the last scene, and except for the fact that the gimmicky ploy of having Nozomi’s being ‘under attack’ was repeated four times times, I can’t really complain about the game plan.

The last scene should have been left out of the finished product, but it’s not going to drag down the overall rating. To say that nine out of ten scenes were done well is an excellent number. Four point two five is the score.
