The Skinny: A DVD that can’t quite make up its mind is an unusual event for us. After a rather excellent debut DVD, You Know?, Tomoko Yunoue takes a step backward with this release called Amai Seikatsu.

Oh sure, she looks great but this DVD is long on leering looks at her butt and boobs, and rather short on coherency and action. In the first three or four scenes, she will basically remain in one place throughout the entire scene. So which is it - a gravure idol DVD or a semi-voyeuristic exercise with elements of sleaze as an added ingredient?

You can’t tell from the montage which begins the DVD. It is a standard montage with just enough T & A to whet your appetite. The I-One Series has long been known as a leader in the gravure industry, so maybe this is simply a case of a specific director or producer losing his way. Either this was a misguided attempt to push the envelope, or it is simply a case of someone being blinded by the boobs so to speak.

The first image of the 1st chapter following the montage is of her bust encased in a garish floral bikini. The colors are seriously bold but the ruffles ruin it for me. Our sexy model is doing a series of yoga stretching exercises.




So how do they portray this - with a series of looks into her cleavage and some zooming crotch shots. Oh it’s not all bad, as her smile is wonderful, her eyes playful, and her figure quite curvy.

Chapter Two begins with Tomoko in a white blouse and a very skimpy black skirt. She’s in high heels, and is writing on a blackboard in what is obviously a class room. After a leering look under her skirt, some one approaches. Using some sort of probe to lift her skirt, the intruder seems intent. After a mild series of protests, Ms Yunoue is tossed to the top of a table. School papers fly into the air.

But in an reversal, she soon disrobes. All that she leaves on is a bra and panties. Even the eye glasses and shoes have come off, as Tomoko seems to be quite interested in showing off her figure to the intruder as well as the viewers. All of the ‘action’ which is mainly her flirting, takes place on the table top then on the floor right below. We have a major continuity gaffe here as when she is back on the floor, her eye glasses are back on as are her shoes.

Three has Tomoko in a white bikini scampering about on the schools baseball field. Here she’s in motion virtually the whole time. In one great moment she’s running across the outfield grass and the camera is somehow just inches below her lush bottom.

A shower room is our next destination. Tomoko wields a hand held shower. She’s wearing a transparent when wet blouse over a bold and brief green bikini. Her body is beautiful. Only the action is limited to her standing in place as the camera slowly moves around her. The only sound is the sound s of the falling water.

Once seated on the floor of the shower, she’s lowered the blouse off her shoulders. The camera spends a lot of time in a slow journey over her body. When Tomoko looks at us while almost removing the blouse, it is a special moment. After a while she’s no longer holding the shower head while the camera slowly inspects her figure.

After the shower, Tomoko is on a white sofa. Someone with a pink plastic wand presses her feet with it.

Then she grabs it, and does something to us with it (off camera of course). Then this gizmo has somehow gotten under her bra and is pressing her boobs as it pokes upward through her cleavage.

Then we see her in what appears to be two sets of bra and panties one over the other. Tomoko will then use her arms against the side of her breasts to accentuate her cleavage.


Next we are in a building which houses a large indoor swimming pool. Tomoko wears a deeply cut black one piece bathing suit. She sports a whistle as if she was a swimming coach. “We” are amazed by her figure and the camera moves menacingly close to her boobs.

She holds us off and when we repeat, the whistle shrieks. And then, instead of pursuing that idea, or better yet, have her get into the pool and swim, Tomoko begins a series of exercises. We are in close for some boob shots and butt shots.

The next scene actually begins with Tomoko about to bathe. She wears a red robe, and ‘we’ are spying on her, or maybe peeping is the better term. She becomes aware of us because we can’t just stay outside peeping in through the partially open door. No, we burst fully in to the room, and then we get a mild lecture for our troubles. Don’t even think of using the word stern here, as you can tell, she’s not really into bawling us out, or heaven forbid, throwing us out of the room.

But is was all just for fun. Tomoko is more than pleased to remove the red robe revealing some additional red - a length of scarf tied around her bust, and red panties. She looks superb with her warm eyes, easy smile, and impressive bosom. But she doesn’t move. she’s seated and the movement of the camera provides the action other than Tomoko’s hand on her bust, Until she’s in the filled bath tub for less than a minute, then she’s on the floor, just lying on her red robe as the scene concludes.


The next scene probably needs a Japanese speaker to offer some comments. It looks like Tomoko is sitting on us. She’s doing something with her hands, but we can’t see what it is. And she’s bouncing on us. The light is bad in this scene as it looks faded, but we are treated to some impressive looks into her cleavage. We adjusted the contrast for illustrative purposes. She says “kimoji‘ over and over.

It looks like some sort of simulated sex to me. When she turns and reverse straddles us, we are inches from her butt. Later we see enough of the floor to figure out that this was a massage on us, and not really sex. But they sure tried to make us think that Tomoko was doing a whole lot more than giving us a massage.

But it goes even more towards misdirection in the next scene. Tomoko wears a bikini and works with a clear plastic blowup of a guitar. Only they show her hands on the long tubular part more than anything else. Fortunately this was very brief, and thanks for that as it was totally unconvincing for whatever you wanted it to be, or thought it was intended to be.


The next scene is lovely. Tomoko wears a lovely knit bikini. She’s in a room that we’ve seen in many other DVDs. I’ll show you a picture of the bed, and you’ll remember it.

Tomoko will bounce up and down on this bed giving us a very good POV. I liked this scene as it wasn’t too graphic, and did give us some wonderful views of her figure. And the lighting for this scene was just superb.

The next scene falls on it proverbial face. Tomoko wears a red and white bikini. She’s out on the playing field and is running while acting something out. She talks non-stop, and the camera work is horrible. Plus the jazzy piano music track seems totally wrong for a scene in which someone is talking. Even taking in to consideration the location of the sun was more than they could handle.

And so ends the main chapters. There’s still seven minutes left. Tomoko signs the obligatory tee-shirt and politely asks us to buy her DVD. Then some behind the scenes shots. Tomoko takes us on a small tour of the school where some many of the scenes were shot. She will also show off a couple of mosquito bites.

Summary - I still love this model. She has a sweet smile, beautiful hair, expressive eyes, and an impressive bust-line. She also looks good in eye-glasses.

Yes we like heaving breasts, and I can appreciate a jiggling bust as much as the next guy. But some how, I see this director as someone who is leering at these models, and setting the tone as intrusive rather than honoring them for their beauty and grace. I like the slow pans up and down the body as well, but in this DVD, too many of the scenes followed the same patterns.

Finally, the two scenes outdoors were weak. The first on the baseball field seemed aimless, and the second on the same playing field seemed ludicrous as Tomoko ran her mouth throughout the entire scene.

I will score this one at just three point zero and hold the director, Atsusi Nagaoka to blame. If you recall, I didn’t care for his work in the recently reviewed Hojo with Yoko Matsugane either. If I-One is using Nagaoka as their lead director these days, I am concerned as his work needs to improve.
