The Skinny: Another 9 holes of less than scintillating golf with the Queen of Gravure Idols - Yoko Matsugane. It is what it is - a half a round of golf. No amount of spin-doctoring is going to change that. So if you start with that as your basic truth, this DVD is okay for those of you who enjoying looking at Yoko no matter what.
Peeling back the cover of her scorecard, there no need to walk you through all nine holes. Yoko shoots a +16 for the half round meaning that she was nearly two over par on average for every hole. But the best was the last hole. A longish par 4 measuring 432 yards. Yoko got a par on this whole. Check out her reaction below.
Her tee-shot was down the middle, and her second shot was off the green to the left. She chipped onto the green leaving herself a 22 foot putt for par. And she drained it. Wow! That was something to see.
What you don’t see is where does Yoko change? She sports about 5 different bikinis for the 9 holes, and I know from first hand experiences that they don’t have changing rooms much less bathrooms just off the greens on each hole. Did she change under the sun behind some bushes and shrubs? Did some production assistants hold up some blankets as they circled her?
Whatever the answer to that question is will remain a mystery. As will the rationale for these Yoko-on-the-fairways DVD’s. I’ve not come up with an explanation as to why Yoko made these DVD’s. Not that it matters.
Summary - While clearly these Golf DVD’s are not going to take home any prizes for either the golf, or for Yoko in bikinis as she’s looked so much better in other DVD’s; there is a sense of satisfaction in watching this woman.
Her form when hitting a tee-shot, or when she’s putting looks very good, and I mean her swing; not her bikini bra cups.
Her spirits are up throughout and even when she makes a bad shot, her groans of frustration are the same as the ones we make when we hook, slice, or dub our own shots. In it’s way, it was a fun DVD, especially when Yoko makes a good shot. Or she can be playful when throwing a provocative pose at the photographjer - see below.
But if you’re looking for the high excitement that Yoko Matsugane is known for world-wide, it won’t be found in this DVD. Three point zero is the rating.
