I’ve been told, and now I’m alerting you that my website Aov.gijo.org and Zatoichi’s gijo.org will close on or about December 12th. There will be a redirect to my new location set up.

After more than two years and four months as a sub-directory of Zatoichi’s wonderful web tribute to his favorite idols, which followed the 8 years at my old site, I have relocated because Zatoichi himself has decided to move on. Life has a way of doing that to you. So, as his site www.gijo.org  will be closing, so too will www.aov.gijo.org. I owe Zatoichi a world of thanks, as he designed the current look of the site.

But there is good news. I got myself a web-host and sent them a bunch of dead presidents. They registered my domain, and set me up on a server. Zatoichi handled the transfer and upload for me.

There were a few casualties - my last four posts - reviews of Rio Natsume, Diana Okuai, and Chiri Arikawa, plus the Art and Movie article called Happy Thankgiving 2008 were added to the old site after the data-base had been saved, so they didn’t transfer over. I also believe some recent comment’s were lost as well.I did however save those columns, on my computer, and will republish them on the new site over the next day or so.

But for now, they are still here at aov.gijo.org.

Going forward, we still have to tweak the homepage on the new site as it still gives the old URL. But that aside, we are open for business beginning today, December 3rd. We will continue to bring you features on Idol DVDs, Movies, Travel, and Art as always.  We are thankful for your readership and interest, and we appreciate that many of you have taken the time to leave your comments, opinions,  and words of thanks.

So please use the link at the top of this article, and head over to the new location. And remember to create a book- mark for the new URL.

The Skinny: Tall, leggy, and busty is a pretty apt description of Diana Okuai appearing in H-Site from Mare and Spice Visual. She has a very sexy body, and seems not the least bit shy about showing off her curves. One thing I noticed straightaway is that the DVD Cover has lots of images but in none of them does Diana offer up an open-mouth toothsome smile. Okay her smile is less than perfect. But in the DVD itself she smiles often.

After a lengthy and very well edited montage, we meet Diana wandering about at the edge of the mangroves. It is sandy and the banyan and bamboo trees are all around. She’s in a standard Japanese school uniform.

The Skinny: Longtime no see. It has been a while since we’ve reviewed a DVD from Aqua House. They’re noted for usually producing DVD’s with models with rather large busts. And this one fits right into that mode. It’s a by-the-numbers production, not really different from any other gravure idol DVD. But the location on Iejima Island, which is part of Okinawa Prefecture, did make for some pretty shots and locations.

The flight in from Hong Kong is rather long - five hours and change plus a one hour difference in time zones. I landed at Narita. Last time I went to Japan, I thought the immigration part was extremely long in the amount of time it took to get my visa. But things have brightened up considerably. I got my passport stamped and my visa in no time at all. They’ve updated the hardware and now they take a picture of you while you stand in front of the immigration officer. Some travelers have older passports - this gives them an up-to-date picture of you. (more…)

The Skinny: when this was released last August, it marked the penultimate, or next to last, gravure release for Hitomi Tanaka who was to move on to JAV titles in the near future. In this video, she is paired with the not unattractive Yuri Himegami. As with most of the two model gravure videos we have seen, there will be a lot of hugging and snuggling, caresses, and foreplay; but absolutely no sex. I guess they were trying to show us how Hitomi appeals to both sexes, and how her imposing bust was a sexual magnet that no-one, of either sex, could ignore.

The Skinny: Another 9 holes of less than scintillating golf with the Queen of Gravure Idols - Yoko Matsugane. It is what it is - a half a round of golf. No amount of spin-doctoring is going to change that. So if you start with that as your basic truth, this DVD is okay for those of you who enjoying looking at Yoko no matter what.

The Skinny: Another feast for the eyes from hottie Hitomi Aizawa. Her first release in the series, Seishun Dynamic , was so well received that they’ve now trotted out Part II. I loved the first one, and gave it a 4.5 rating. This one looks every bit as good. There’s something about Hitomi that grabs you  - is it her womanly hips, that heaving bosom, or those flashing, knowing, and seductive looks that she can throw at a man, rendering him  breathless and willing to follow her anywhere?

The video begins with Aizawa-san looking out over the resort she’s staying at. She looks back over her shoulder, and asks us for our agreement that this place is sugoi (amazing). A few more words and some additional delicious glances over her shoulder and the montage is launched.
